The Opportunity Alliance is looking for an Application Administrator to join our Data Team.
The Application Administrator is both a technical and forward-facing position for the Data/IT department, responsible for supporting, developing, and maintaining database systems for the Agency. This position contributes to the accomplishment of the Agency’s mission through the implementation, development, and maintenance of database resources and backend systems.
This position attends ongoing HR, Finance, Data, Operations, and/or Information Technology (IT) briefings with agency staff and leadership.
Work is performed, reviewed, and evaluated under the supervision of the Vice President of Operations.
This role maintains the various information related systems in Workday and Genesys including:
- Reviewing existing functionality and business processes and suggesting changes to increase productivity and efficiency. Manage requests for process improvements and system enhancements.
- Actively identifying and resolving issues or opportunities for enhanced user experience.
- Monitor and manage the integrations of the system, working with others for changes or new initiatives.
- Developing, documenting, and maintaining all current and new Business process workflows for efficiency and compliance.
- Ensuring optimum operation of the Agency systems including development, implementation, administration, and maintenance of policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the agency databases. Implements data models, database designs, data access and table maintenance codes. Resolved database performance and capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues; and
- Maintains, monitors, and modifies applications designed and provision of updates as requested by users and approved by the VP of Operations.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, hourly position.
Location: Office will be located in South Portland.
Hybrid schedule with some remote work may be acceptable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science or equivalent technical degrees/certification preferred.
- 5 years of work experience in this field is required.
- Must have at least three years of experience with the following: Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access, .NET, Visual Basic, and database mapping and design. Familiarity with Workday, Empower, and/or Credible preferred.
- Knowledge or background using Windows Server, HTML, helpdesk experience and familiarity with social service or non-profit organizations.
- Excellent organization skills, with strong attention to detail required.
- Contracts that have Rider D: Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background, child protective service check & sex offender check.
- Must not be on the state or federal suspension and disbarment list.
- Normal office conditions such as sitting, with occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, typing and lifting up to 10 pounds.
- Driving may be necessary to attend meetings and trainings but is not a primary and essential job responsibility.
