About this Position

We’re seeking a proactive, commercially focused team player and passionate Media Manager to lead the development and execution of our media strategy across Australia and New Zealand. What you´ll do

  • Oversee end-to-end media planning and buying across all channels (TV, digital, social, OOH), ensuring alignment with brand and commercial objectives.
  • Manage media agency relationships and collaborate with key external partners (e.g. Google, Meta, TikTok) to drive impactful and cost-efficient campaigns.
  • Champion test-and-learn opportunities and continuously optimise media performance through Henkel’s Experimentation@Scale process.
  • Manage media platforms (HMC & Henkel Open) and deliver performance reports, competitive analysis, post-buy reviews, and ad hoc insights for stakeholders.
  • Ensure robust tracking of media KPIs such as reach, engagement, conversion, and sales uplift, supporting data-driven decisions.
  • Coordinate full marketing budget tracking and monthly forecasts, including PO creation, invoice management, and spend reconciliation.
  • Work closely with internal teams (Brand, Shopper, Finance) and global/regional counterparts to ensure integrated campaign execution.
  • Provide clear, data-backed insights and recommendations to guide senior stakeholders and support strategic media decisions.

What makes you a good fit

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in media strategy, planning, and execution, preferably within the FMCG industry.
  • Proven ability to lead integrated, multi-channel campaigns and deliver strong results.
  • Skilled in communication planning and managing cross-functional teams and media agencies effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of the ANZ media landscape, consumer behaviour, and retail dynamics.
  • Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience in media measurement tools, including MMM and performance analytics.
  • Strategic and commercially minded, with sharp attention to detail and the ability to influence stakeholders.
