About the role
This is a very exciting role within the GM team. Responsible for revenue and profit delivery on these categories. You'll be a key member of the GM lead team. The role is full time. Based in Nottingham and is maternity cover, so is for 12 months.
This role reports into Liz Hewitt, category director within the GM team. It has 5 direct reports across 3 major categories. This role is a really exciting role with a great breadth of categories.
Key responsibilities
- Revenue and profit delivery
- Leadership within the team and the wider GM team
- Leading total Boots Christmas commercial plan and delivery alongside GTM team
- Lead for marketing on Christmas for total business
- Working closely with and developing relationship with Christmas product development and buying teams to develop the right range.
- Price and Promotion strategy on Christmas
- Working closely with the Accessories OB product team to continue to recreate the range on total accessories
- Working on strategy for Luxury Bath and Body 2.0 to continue to deliver growth and keeping up with skin and beauty trends.
What you'll need to have
- Strong commercial experience with proven track record of delivering strong revenue and profit.
- Understand Boots, ways of working, with a strong network internally
- Understand importance of Boots own brand in these categories
- Proven track record of working with and nurturing SME's
- Strong leadership and team development
- Collaborative style of leadership
- Ability to influence cross functionally
