Our client, a distribution company specialized in window applications, located in the south of the Brussels, is urgently looking for an Interim Supply Chain Manager for a period of minimum 12 months.
The Interim Supply Chain Manager's key responsibilities will include:
- Manage the general operation with a strong focus on the warehousing activities, logistics and the small production unit;
- Ensure and efficient go life of the automated warehousing project;
- Liaise with sales customer service and the operations to ensure efficient dispatching towards clients;
- Ensure efficiency and smooth operation of supply chain processes during a period of transition;
- Manage the relations and contract negotiations with logistic partners;
- Collaborate closely with internal departments, including procurement, production, sales, and finance, to align supply chain activities with business objectives and customer requirements;
- Look into areas of improvement and propose an improvement roadmap to ensure future growth;
- 3 direct reports
The Interim Supply Chain Manager's Profile:
- You have solid expertise in Supply Chain Management and have managed small to mid size teams to ensure daily operations and prepare the organisation for further growth
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, logistics operations, and inventory management techniques.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Problem solver and out of the box thinker.
- You speak English fluently and have a good level of French.
