What You Will Be Doing as a Senior Business Controller

Are you an experienced business controller who thrives on complex challenges? In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact within an international organization undergoing major transformation. As Senior Business Controller, your primary focus will be on a key production site in the Netherlands, which plays a central role in operations. Occasionally, affiliated entities in the Benelux region may also require your expertise. You will be responsible for supply chain, transport, warehousing, and general operations. You translate data into insights that drive meaningful decisions, working closely with operations, sales, production, and logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities

Transport & Supply Chain Controlling

Analyze transport costs, truck occupancy rates, and external storage usage. Explore smarter planning, more efficient loading, and cost-effective transport-without compromising customer satisfaction.

Forecasting & Scenario Analysis

Develop rolling forecasts and scenario models based on growth drivers. Help the organization anticipate rather than react.

Streamlining Reports & Dashboards

Current management reporting involves extensive manual work. You'll identify what's needed for effective decision-making and collaborate with the BI team to automate and streamline dashboards.

Projects Within the Optimization Program

Contribute as a subject matter expert and sparring partner to strategic initiatives focused on pricing, cost structures, and production efficiency.

Financial Consulting

While your main focus is the Dutch production site, affiliated companies in the region may occasionally require financial advice or support.

Who You Are

We're looking for a seasoned business controller with a strong affinity for production environments and supply chain complexity. You bring:

• A completed bachelor's or master's degree in finance, business administration, or accountancy
• At least 8 years of experience in a similar role within a production company
• Strong analytical skills and a structured working approach
• The ability to work independently while actively seeking collaboration
• Excellent communication skills, a critical mindset, and a solution-oriented attitude
• A business partnering mindset, working closely with fellow controllers
• Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus but not required
