What is the gig?

You’ll work for two weeks on-site, then head home to Brisbane with a week to yourself. While you’re on site, here’s what you can expect:

  • Preparing and cooking large-volume, high-quality meals (sometimes for 3,000+ people daily!)
  • Following set menus and food safety procedures (HACCP knowledge essential)
  • Working collaboratively with your team to deliver consistently high standards
  • Day and/or night shifts required working 10+ hours per day
  • Contributing to a positive, respectful kitchen culture

What we’re looking for

  • A recognized cookery qualification (Certificate III Commercial Cookery - essential)
  • Experience in bulk or fast-paced commercial kitchens
  • Flexibility and a team-first attitude
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
  • Strong time management and resilience — this is a physically demanding job with real rewards
