Express Employment is seeking a Diesel Mechanic for a company in Davenport, IA!
Responsibilities of the Diesel Mechanic:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on fleet vehicles and trailer
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on diesel trucks, equipment and trailers.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot issues.
- Keep accurate maintenance records and update repair logs.
- Ensure compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements of the Diesel Mechanic:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with diesel engines or heavy-duty trucks.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, braking systems, electrical systems, and general vehicle diagnostics.
- Must own a basic set of hand tools required for diesel repair work (specialty tools provided by the company).
- Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Welding or fabrication skills a plus.

- Full-Time
- Working 1st shift
- $23.00-29.00/hour
