MBO provides a $1.75 hourly rate of pay increase, which will be considered as part of the base hourly rate when calculating:

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Pre-Employment Process: Prior to appointment, applicants must pass a background investigation which includes verification of employment history and education, fingerprinting, physical exam, and drug screening.

Travel: Travel throughout the County is required, including to remote and rural communities.
Schedule: The incumbent may occasionally be scheduled to work on weekends, including Saturdays or Sundays, based on community event schedules and operational needs. Overtime beyond the regular work schedule may also be required.
Physical: Requires physical demands such as, balancing, bending, climbing, crawling, kneeling, sitting, squatting, standing, stooping, turning, twisting and walking long distances both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions; hand and finger dexterity in both hands; ability to manipulate heavy duty security locks and doors; reaching or working above and below shoulder level; normal vision, including color discrimination; normal hearing; and carrying up to 10 pounds.
Working Conditions: Involves exposure to hazardous and infectious materials and communicable diseases.
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
License: Possession of a current license as a Dentist by the State of California Board of Dental Examiners.
Certificate: a Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate
DEA Authorization: Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) authorization to prescribe all necessary medication
Experience: Completion of two years in dental practice, exclusive of internship.
