The ND Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (ND DOCR) has an exciting opportunity as a Reentry Services Coordinator. This position is located statewide. The starting salary range for this position is $5,800-6,500 per month.

Summary of Work

This role focuses on enhancing reentry support for justice-involved individuals by collaborating with stakeholders, identifying barriers, and ensuring access to critical services. Responsibilities include planning, developing, and evaluating reentry programs, aligning efforts across departments, and participating in strategic planning initiatives. The position also involves developing training & resource materials, improving data connectivity and reporting, expanding housing resources, and ensuring consistency with evidence-based practices. Regular assessment, inter-agency coordination, and policy development are key to driving continuous improvement and meeting organizational goals.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires HS diploma/GED and three years of work experience working with criminal justice involved individuals. Preference will be given to applicants who have work experience providing Reentry Services to individuals and have two years of personal recovery, and or past criminal justice involved lived experience. It is preferred that the applicant have work experience with a variety of public and private agencies, including those in criminal justice, social services, housing, employment, and behavioral health. A valid class D driver’s license and statewide travel are required.
