SUMMARY

Under direct supervision, Mill Data Entry supports the construction and assembly of modular units at production facilities (plant). This role is responsible for coordinating daily operations, monitoring workflow, and ensuring team members complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently. Duties include assembling, installing, and maintaining structural components while promoting adherence to safety and quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operates and maintains tools and equipment to perform tasks such as installation, assembly, and repair.
  • Installs and assembles components and fixtures according to project specifications within the plant and at construction sites.
  • Prepares surfaces and structures for finishing or additional work as required.
  • Identifies and resolves basic issues encountered during production and construction processes.
  • Coordinates daily tasks and assigns responsibilities to team members to meet production schedules.
  • Reviews daily operating reports and communicates operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues to management to prevent delays.
  • Assures supply needs are met and materials are available at each delivery point.
  • Monitors construction and assembly processes to ensure projects are completed on time and according to quality standards.
  • Builds and maintains a positive, team-oriented work environment among production personnel.
  • Identifies performance issues, provides coaching and feedback, and supports corrective actions in collaboration with Production Management and Human Resources.
  • Promotes and follows safe work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policies.
  • Maintains consistent, full-time, predictable onsite attendance as an essential function of the role.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION | EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment, preferably in a leadership or team lead role
  • Hands-on experience with assembly, construction, or related tasks
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools, as well as mobile equipment, preferred
  • Experience with modular construction or prefabrication processes is a plus
  • Basic understanding of safety protocols in production or construction settings
  • Eligible to work in the United States

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed primarily in a manufacturing plant environment with exposure to machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Occasional work may take place at construction sites, which may involve similar conditions and outdoor exposure.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, and high-visibility vests, must be worn in designated areas.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds and push or pull loads up to 50 pounds
  • Strong balance, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and meet visual and auditory requirements
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and manual labor as needed
