Sinomax is currently hiring for experienced Spring Coil machine Operator for 2nd shift.

Position Summary

• Sets up and operates an automatic spring coil machine to produce a variety of finished products according to customer specifications.

Essential Functions

1. Sets up and adjusts machines according to product specifications.
2. Visually inspects product for defects and transfers defective items to the appropriate location.
3. Loads raw materials into spring coil machine. Monitors machines and troubleshoots basic malfunctions.
4. Unloads finished product and visually inspects to ensure they meet quality standards.
5. Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies to accomplish job results without waste.
6. Uses knowledge and experience to resolve basic operating problems; reports other problems to their supervisor.
7. Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
8. Follows safety policies and procedures; reports unsafe conditions to supervisor.
9. Work involves constant sitting or standing and frequent lifting and bending.
10. Work involves exposure to dirt, dust, noise, and electrical hazards.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Pay: $18.00 per hour with a $0.75 shift diff

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Two years’ experience operating automatic production/packaging machines.

Excellent mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Able to monitor and adjust multiple machine operations simultaneously.

Able to work from verbal and written instructions.

Ability to work independently and with minimal Supervision.

Able to use a caliper, tape measures and other measuring devices.

Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift 50 pounds.
