Tietoevry Tech Services (soon to be Vivicta) is entering an exciting new chapter under new ownership. We’re building AI solutions that deliver impact today while laying the foundation for the agent-based architectures of the future.

We are looking for an AI Architect to join our team and help us take this next step. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing and delivering production-grade AI and agentic applications at enterprise scale. The right candidate combines hands-on expertise with an architect’s mindset: knowing when to apply LLMs, RAG pipelines, classic ML approaches, or agent-based frameworks, and ensuring those choices are implemented in a way that is secure, scalable, and compliant.

What you’ll be working on

• Designing and deploying AI solutions that integrate LLMs, RAG pipelines, and modern agentic frameworks such as LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen, or Semantic Kernel.
• Building applications where agents can reason, plan, use tools, and work together across complex workflows.
• Establishing best practices in MLOps and LLMOps from CI/CD pipelines and model evaluation to monitoring and drift detection to ensure systems perform reliably in production.
• Delivering solutions across platforms like Azure AI Foundry, multi-cloud environments, and contributing to our future Sovereign AI capability, where secure and compliant training pipelines will play a central role.
• Embedding governance and responsible AI principles into every solution, making sure we meet GDPR, EU AI Act, and enterprise standards.
• Acting as a thought leader: shaping reference architectures, guiding teams, and representing Vivicta in the wider AI and developer community.

What we’re looking for

• Strong communication skills in both Finnish and English are mandatory to successfully operate in our customer interface
• At least 8 years’ experience in AI/ML or architecture roles, with a strong track record of building and delivering production-ready AI systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML/AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and HuggingFace.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector databases, and agentic frameworks.
• Strong expertise with at least one cloud ML platforms (Azure AI Foundry, AWS Sagemaker, GCP Vertex) and an interest in Sovereign AI concepts.
• Strong grounding in MLOps/LLMOps practices, model evaluation, and compliance.
• Architectural Mindset: Able to design end-to-end solutions, balance trade-offs (LLM vs classical ML vs agentic), and document reference architectures for reuse.
• Ability to make platform choices based on compliance, data residency, and business needs, with interest in emerging Sovereign AI environments.
