Parkview Health is accepting applications for an Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
The Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor oversees a growing ambulatory line of business, collaborating with Parkview leaders to align operations and implement strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include managing daily operations and advancing new ambulatory pharmacy projects. Working in collaboration with another Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor, these leaders support over 35 FTEs across various services such as Primary Care, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Weight Management, and Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology. The role requires strong clinical and operational knowledge, including regulatory and billing expertise in both physician and hospital settings.
The ideal candidate will have excellent people skills and be a strong team member and leader. This candidate should demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and technical skills, along with a commitment to supporting the team's success. The candidate will need to be comfortable with autonomy, able to self-motivate and work independently, skilled in communication skills and conflict management, willing to actively learn new concepts, and able to deconstruct a process to drive improvement. Parkview Pharmacy has provided advanced pharmacy services in a variety of areas for decades. Parkview offers a progressive pharmaceutical care environment in a variety of practice settings, with tremendous growth in ambulatory care including primary care, hospital-based clinics, specialty clinics, and a retail/specialty pharmacy. Inpatient services include interdisciplinary rounding, and surgical/critical care and oncology satellite pharmacies. Parkview Pharmacy leadership includes a team with dedication to each facility and service type, including Inpatient and Ambulatory Clinical Services, Distribution Services Managers for Parkview Regional Medical Center and Parkview Hospital, Oncology Manager, and Retail & Specialty Managers. Additionally, there are supervisors in each area to help support daily needs and department projects in conjunction with lead pharmacists and lead technicians.
Qualifications: Candidates must possess a pharmacy degree from an ACPE‐accredited institution with
completion of a PGY‐2 ambulatory care residency program, PGY1/2 HSPAL program, or equivalent experience. Leadership experience required. Three years healthcare supervision preferred. Pharmacy licensure, or eligibility, in Indiana required. Candidates must have a high level of ambulatory clinical and administrative skills, enthusiasm for patient care, and the interpersonal skills needed to interact effectively with health professionals, patients, residents, and students.
