This role is a critical blend of strategic consulting and creative storytelling, designed to transform the COE's mission, goals, and complex initiatives into clear, inspiring internal communications. This person acts as the primary liaison between the COE's leadership and the rest of the enterprise, building tools and orchestrating a communication cadence that fosters employee engagement and positions every team member as an active brand ambassador.

What you’ll do

  • Identifies and creates communications that immerse employees in the Equifax mission and vision, as well as business goals and growth plans to ensure they have a full understanding of their roles in the success of the company.
  • Writes compelling communications that inspire employees to become active brand ambassadors who help spread the word about Equifax values, innovation, and financial successes.
  • Establishes a cadence of communications and is responsible for orchestrating the overall plan to inspire COE employees.
  • Serves as a consultant to the COE, identifying programs and initiatives that will enhance the employee experience and improve the company's external profile via employee sentiment.
  • Creates tools, systems, and processes that enable employees to access accurate and compelling stories and information they can use to tell the Equifax story to internal and external audiences.
  • Builds and maintains constructive partnerships with clients and colleagues and advises them on internal communication initiatives.
  • Anticipates future needs and take projects from ideation to deployment.
  • Serves as the COE advocate and liaison with enterprise internal communications in order to ensure enterprise priorities are communicated within the COE, and that COE priorities are communicated across the enterprise.
  • Accrues exposure to and understanding of a number of critical business functions including finance, IT, marketing, legal, change management, and data & analytics.
  • Support COE leaders and executives with deliverables including but not limited to electronic/print communications, website content updates, videos, webcast updates, town hall meetings, and regular business reports.
  • Support Business Initiatives including but not limited to COE initiative communications, intranet content, messages from senior leadership, and employee recognition.
  • Support Employee Engagement including but not limited to creating/implementing strategy using Employee Engagement Survey data, developing channels and materials that engage and immerse employees in strategic COE efforts, and new-employee recognitions.
  • Web Content Management including but not limited to overseeing updates to the intranet site with fresh content, developing and implementing a plan that elevates the intranet as the go-to site for all employees.
  • Mentor and enable COE leaders and stakeholders on storytelling best practices, ensuring consistent messaging and high-quality internal and external communications that effectively link tactical work to strategic goals.

What experience you need

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college, degree in English preferred, or overall Communications or Language Arts degree
  • 5-7 years related Communications experience
  • Established track record in the field of corporate communications; excellent corporate writing background required
  • Technical competencies include Google Workspace expertise, Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent communication skills – written and oral
  • Demonstrated ability to manage internal client relationships, including executive level, in mid- to large-size organizations, preferably a public and/or global company
