Qualifications:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in public transport, preferably with regional and international experience, particularly within GCC countries.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).

Job Description:

  • Prepare strategic plans to develop public transport systems and their necessary infrastructure.
  • Manage and develop public transport systems and infrastructure, and prepare periodic reports on emerging challenges and proposed solutions to ensure smooth transport operations with the highest service standards.
  • Study and define service level requirements and update them regularly in line with the latest international systems and technologies in this field.
  • Review and evaluate projects referred by the department director and assess their economic feasibility.
  • Perform technical reviews of design and planning works related to public transport routes and infrastructure, ensuring implementation within the approved schedule and budget set by the Ministry.
