Job Title: Medical Assistant

Job Description

As a Medical Assistant, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and guests at the primary care office. This role is central to ensuring a welcoming environment and supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients and guests upon arrival at the primary care office.
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support throughout their healthcare journey.
  • Perform phlebotomy and other medical assisting duties as required.
  • Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for patients.
  • Maintain organized records and contribute to a team-oriented environment.

Essential Skills

  • 3-5 years' experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Strong phlebotomy skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Experience in patient care.
  • Customer service skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Certified Medical Assistant - preferred but not required.
  • eCW EMR experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English-Spanish preferred.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Team player and flexible.

Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite in a team-environment. The clinic operates Monday through Sunday, with shifts from Monday to Wednesday, 8am to 8pm. The team consists of 6 physician providers and 7 medical assistants.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Loxahatchee Groves, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
