Job Description

About this opportunity

The Sales Manager will lead sales growth across our recycled resin, value add and reconditioned packaging product lines. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, solving problems, and contributing to a business focused on sustainability and innovation.

You’ll work closely with customers, internal teams, and industry partners to deliver smart solutions and expand our market presence across New Zealand and beyond.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business goals
  • Manage key customer accounts and identify new opportunities
  • Contribute to expanding product applications and market share
  • Lead the Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) process, providing accurate forecasts to support production and inventory
  • Monitor sales performance, prepare reports, and provide insights to inform strategic decisions
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver successful customer projects
  • Provide accurate forecasts and insights to support planning
  • Contribute to expanding product applications and market share

Your skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • Sales experience in manufacturing or packaging
  • An understanding of plastics and recycling
  • Demonstrated success in business development and account management
  • Experience with S&OP processes and forecasting tools.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel and build lasting customer relationships

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Engineering (preferred)
