About the role:

The Senior IT Associate will maintain and assist Sun King’s IT infrastructure, resolve users’ IT hardware and software challenges, deliver IT training, and manage endpoint hardware and software across China. This role will also work with the local team to ensure internal systems, such as OA and ERP, work appropriately.

The ideal candidate will have solid working experience in Server technology, IT procurement, cybersecurity, computer networking, and various operating systems.

What you would be expected to do:

  • Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot the core IT infrastructure, including networks (firewalls, switches, access points), servers, data storage, and VPN, ensuring optimal performance, security, and data integrity.
  • Provide comprehensive technical support by resolving hardware and software issues for staff, proactively addressing office IT issues, and accurately documenting all helpdesk interactions.
  • Lead IT onboarding and training for new hires and the wider team, developing and facilitating programs to ensure users are proficient with essential equipment, software, and systems.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of endpoint devices (laptops, desktops, mobile) and office systems, including access control, audiovisual equipment, and biometric technology, handling installation, configuration, repairs, and vendor coordination.
  • Serve as the primary support contact for key business systems, including the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and collaborate with local teams to maintain servers for OA, SAP, Kingdee, and other operational platforms.
  • Execute IT procurement for hardware, software, and services, managing vendor relationships and contracts to ensure cost-effective and reliable solutions.
  • Uphold cybersecurity by implementing protective measures, actively monitoring for threats, and responding promptly to security incidents.
  • Provide expert-level administration for Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.

You might be a strong candidate if you have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in IT Systems Administration.
  • Practical expertise in IT assistance, networking, cybersecurity, procurement, and administering Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A self-motivated and positive mindset, capable of working with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to respond to and resolve urgent IT issues outside standard business hours.
