Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated full-time Pharmacy Technician for our pharmacy located in Fort Myers. This role involves receiving, transcribing, and entering resident prescriptions into our operating systems. The Pharmacy Technician may also be responsible for dispensing medication, as well as filling, packaging, and preparing medication for shipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and transcribe resident prescriptions accurately.
• Enter prescription data into the pharmacy operating systems.
• Dispense medication as required.
• Fill, package, and prepare medication for shipment.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Essential Skills

• Excellent customer service abilities.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician license.
• Experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Strong data entry skills.
• Proficiency in order entry and computer skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) certification is a plus.
• Experience with prescription fulfillment and dispensing.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
