Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the Staff Services Analyst (SSA) will perform a range of average technical and analytical duties, including, but not limited to, providing consultative services, analytical support, advice, and problem resolution to management regarding Registration and Compliance or Delinquency and Compliance matters. The SSA gathers, analyzes, maintains general information, researches, and makes recommendations to management relating to the legislatively-mandated Registration or Delinquency Programs. Duties require considerable creative initiative and the ability to perform independent research and analysis. The incumbent acts as a subject matter resource on renewal, compliance, and delinquency functions, and may assist in the development of goals and statistics for the Registration or Delinquency Programs. The incumbent may serve as a lead person to office technicians and seasonal/student staff in the Program, and may assist other units in the Registry as needed. The ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, and develop positive working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external contacts is essential.
