Job Summary
The Assistant Controller plays a critical role in overseeing daily accounting operations, supporting month-end close, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, and providing accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management and corporate. This position supervises accounting staff and contributes to financial planning and process improvements within a high-volume healthcare environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position is responsible for the direct supervision of accounting team members (e.g., Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll staff). They provide coaching, feedback, and training to staff. The Assistant Controller participates in hiring, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions in collaboration with HR.
