Your Role

Join IAG’s dynamic Legal and Company Secretariat team, where your expertise will shape strategic decisions across commercial contracting, procurement, partnering, marketing, and consumer law.

You’ll deliver high-quality, pragmatic legal advice, build strong relationships with business leaders, and drive results through collaboration and innovation. This is a permanent opportunity based in Sydney or Melbourne.

About You

• Bachelor of Laws or equivalent.
• Qualified as a legal practitioner or admitted to appropriate Australian professional body.
• Legal practice experience 5+ years.

Legal practice experience in the following functional areas: commercial contracting, procurement, partnering, marketing and consumer law

• Ability to triage multiple priorities and work autonomously in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Well-developed technical legal skills (e.g. advisory, contract drafting, negotiation).
• Well-developed customer service and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication, decision making and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team.
