Job Description:
Location: Orangeburg, New York
CoWorx Staffing Services in partnership with a global supplier of bonding solutions for the healthcare industry is currently looking for Packaging Equipment Mechanics, this position is to work DIRECTLY with our client. This position offers an excellent benefits package and paid overtime!
This position will be maintaining production uptime during the shift, by troubleshooting repairing, and maintaining equipment, as well as performing calibration, and facilities maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience fixing machines in a production setting.
Responsibilities:
Works in a responsive, organized, collaborative, and safe manner while performing all duties
Repairs and maintains all production equipment according to SOPs as required
Effects safe and timely laminator tooling and packaging equipment set ups as needed
Supports machine operators during set up, and as needed during production runs
Maintains and responds to the requirements of the calibration and preventative maintenance system.
perform routine maintenance, calibration, and facilities work as needed.
Desired Background/Skills:
Working knowledge of cGMP, ISO, and FDA regulations a plus.
Knowledge and understanding of mechanical components and systems, and the ability to conduct maintenance and repairs.
4+ years’ experience in production or maintenance.
Knowledge and understanding of electrical circuits and controls, and ability to perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
Nice to have- bilingual Spanish.
Other Information:
Training Hours – First 2 weeks M-F 8am-430pm
Thereafter standard 2nd shift schedule mirrors production, currently:
M-TH 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM.
Fridays 230p to 1045pm
Voluntary OT will be offered for weekends as business needs require.
