The IT Application Specialist is responsible for providing end user support assistance. Relies on experience and judgment as well as pre-established procedure and instructions to identify research and resolve application setup requests presented from our dealerships through the Help Desk ticketing system. Documents, tracks and monitors the requests/problem to ensure a timely resolution. This role is remote, with travel required up to 50% within first year. Duties/Responsibilities Troubleshoots and resolves issues, setup requests etc. tickets related to fixed operations, variable operations, or accounting. Triages of issues, tickets to Application Managers and Directors. Resolves access issues in accordance with policy. Collaborates with IT to resolve access/setup standard profiles. Verifies issue resolution on the team member’s behalf. Interfaces with other members of IT to resolve various issues. Communicates progress and issues in a timely manner. Actively contributes to ongoing process improvement. Creates and updates issue tickets according to policy and standards. Supports SOX standard reporting. Manages ticket assignment and operational workload. Supports Fixed Ops roll outs, projects, and standardization efforts.
