Overview

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute seeks a Change Management Consultant to drive technical, business process and organizational transformations and enhance change management skills among leaders. This role ensures smooth transitions, optimizes new process and technology adoption, and retains top talent during significant changes. The Change Management Consultant is vital to our organization, aiding in the creation and implementation of strategies that align with our business goals.

Responsibilities include developing strategies for successful change adoption and supporting the creation and refinement of change management programs, including SharePoint, SmartSheet, presentation materials and training content. The role demands a strategic thinker with strong project management and communication skills, capable of effective collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 8 years of experience in change management, with a focus on both technical and organizational changes, required.
  • Experience in project management and familiarity with process improvement and technical systems is a plus.
  • Change Management, Lean Six Sigma, and/or Project Management certification(s) preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Extensive expertise in leading large-scale technology or organizational transformations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for building relationships and influencing stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of change management principals, methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Proficient in managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional analytical skills for data-driven talent management decisions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation skills for conveying complex information.
  • Ability to and experience with collaborating with external consulting agencies.

The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate’s relevant experience, skills and qualifications.

For union positions, the pay range is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)

$109,700 - $126,000
