Working under the direction of the Executive Director, the Regulatory Affairs Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping NEET’s regulatory strategy across the United States and Canada. This position requires close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders -- including regulatory agencies, regional transmission and planning organizations, legislative bodies, and executive branches of state and provincial governments.
The Manager will lead regulatory initiatives, manage complex dockets, and ensure alignment with NEET’s strategic objectives in a dynamic and evolving transmission landscape.
The Regulatory Affairs Manager will play a pivotal role on the team, overseeing all NEET regulatory matters, including rate cases, filings, and open dockets. They will work closely with the Legal, Regulatory Political Affairs, and Business Management teams to develop and implement regulatory strategies that align with company goals.

This job is responsible for representing our company’s interests in regulatory bodies, regional transmission and planning organizations and legislatures in specific areas where NextEra Energy Transmission conducts business. Leaders in this role participate and advocate in various regulatory local, state and federal regulatory stakeholder meetings. This position works with NextEra Federal Regulatory Affairs (FRA) and NextEra Corporate Responsibility Organization (CRO) on interpretation of existing laws and regulations as well as monitoring and advising of new and emerging laws and regulations in the applicable region.
