Program Summary

KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Turkey. Our services ensure smooth operations, allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation support, among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.

Job Summary

The primary duties of this position include driving a tractor, operating pruning equipment, driving and operating street sweepers, performing weed control activities, and maintaining airbase grounds. The employee will provide assistance to other equipment operators as needed. The position requires ensuring the safety of all team members and maintaining accountability for assigned tools, equipment, and other resources.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure all tasks assigned are carried out in a satisfactory manner in accordance to established standards.
• Drive and operate a tractor with pruning machinery attached.
• Drive and operate a vacuum sweeper to remove FOD/debris from roadways and parking lots.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections, change gutter brooms and make necessary adjustments to sweeper components to ensure proper operation.
• Ensure that daily preventive maintenance and safety checks are performed on all equipment/power tools and hand tools prior to and during use.
• Must be knowledgeable of Spanish and USAF safety policies.
• Adheres to all pertinent USAF / KBR policies, plans and directives.
• Performs all other duties as assigned including supporting other departments or special projects
• Perform strenuous work in inclement weather

Basic Qualifications

• Must have technical school completion or equivalent.
• Must have ability to communicate in native language.
• Must possess a Spanish Class ‘C’ driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

• English Reading Level I, Written Level I, Verbal Level I.
