Western Wisconsin Health is seeking a full-time Athletic Trainer to join our Rehabilitation Services department! The Athletic Trainer is responsible for assisting providers in a physician extender role, including assisting in surgical procedures. Trainers are also responsible for school based and industrial sports medicine care provided by Western Wisconsin Health, including event and training room type coverage (school or business), overseeing assessment and treatment for athletes suffering from injuries and facilitating safe return to sport. All of this is done to support the organization’s mission while living our values.

$3000 Signing Bonus!

• $1500 paid on your first paycheck
• $1500 paid after six months of employment

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training
• Current license through the State of Wisconsin as an athletic trainer or willing to become licensed upon hire
• CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• BOC certification or willing to become certified
• Experience in physician extender role
• Experience or interest in development of industrial medicine outreach

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Build strong and effective working relationships with providers, leadership, and staff
• Strong interest in program development
• Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills, including ability to engage clients in an industrial setting
• Comfortable providing care in a variety of settings; clinic, training room, manufacturing,
• Maintain the integrity of highly confidential business and patient information
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and electronic medical records
