Overview

As an Account Manager at Edelman Health, you’ll take ownership of delivering impactful healthcare communications programmes across a range of client accounts. You’ll blend strategic thinking with strong project management to bring ideas to life and drive measurable results. You’ll also mentor junior colleagues, collaborate with specialist teams, and contribute to an inclusive and creative team culture.

What you'll be doing

  • Act as a day-to-day client contact, building trust and delivering counsel with confidence
  • Manage and deliver high-quality work across campaigns, timelines and budgets
  • Support strategic planning by applying industry and audience insights
  • Write, review and tailor content across formats (press, digital, social), ensuring accuracy and tone
  • Lead integrated campaigns with an understanding of paid, owned and earned media
  • Stay current on healthcare industry trends, competitive landscapes and Edelman IP
  • Contribute to organic growth and new business efforts by identifying opportunities
  • Collaborate and share knowledge across Edelman’s global network
  • Support financial forecasting, resourcing and timely billing
  • Coach junior team members and contribute to a positive, inclusive culture
  • Using AI or automation tools to assist in healthcare communications or campaign support (e.g. drafting content, analysing sentiment, compiling insights), with an understanding of compliance within regulated environments.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in PR or communications within a healthcare environment (agency experience desirable)
  • Confident communicator with excellent writing, editing and presentation skills
  • Strong project and time management capabilities with attention to detail
  • Creative problem-solver with a collaborative approach
  • Familiarity with digital channels and ABPI/social media guidelines
  • Proactive and adaptable with a commitment to learning and growth
  • Ability to effectively use AI-enhanced platforms (e.g. social listening tools, content generation aids, media tracking tools) to support campaign delivery, trend identification, and content development.
