The Role:

The Beverage Server are expected to deliver truly great service, and to create a warm and friendly atmosphere for our guests. Beverage servers should be knowledgeable and familiar with all beverage items, drink preparations, ingredients. Beverage servers must work well as a team, maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides superior levels of guest service to both internal and external guests.
  • Takes beverage orders from guests and relays orders to bartender. Required to remember the guest, their location, and the drink order.
  • Monitors the guests’ drink consumption to try to prevent guest(s) from becoming intoxicated. Notifies proper supervisory personnel if a guest does appear intoxicated.
  • Keeps the Shift Manager informed of any problems and issues

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or general education degree GED
  • previous beverage experience in a high volume, sophisticated bar/casino preferred, but not required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money.
