Office of Adult, Aging and Disability Services - Grand Junction Regional Centers
About Grand Junction Regional Center:
Grand Junction Regional Center (GJRC) is a collection of group homes that serves adult individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) who need additional support to stabilize and return to community residential settings. GJRC's focus is on improving outcomes for individuals with IDD as well as promoting community integration. GJRC has a total of 10 homes nestled throughout established neighborhoods of Grand Valley. These homes feature warm, comfortable living spaces and private, fenced backyards with recreation equipment.

The Health Care Technician I will ensure a home-like environment for people with developmental disabilities or who have a dual diagnosis that ensures personal outcomes and to achieve a therapeutic milieu for up to 12 persons

This position is 100% In-Person: You are required to work at your assigned work location during your scheduled work times. This position follows a rotating two-week schedule: Week 1 consists of 3 days on / 4 days off; Week 2 consists of 4 days on / 3 days off. Shifts are 12 hours in duration and may be 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. (day shift) or 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. (night shift). Specific shift assignment will be determined upon hire based on program needs. Please note: Work arrangements are subject to change at any time.
Education/Licensure/Certification/Experience:
High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

This position will have a current valid LPT license in good standing or be QMAP trained

CDHS Selection Process Explanation
Employment history is calculated on a full-time basis (40/hrs per week). Part-time employment is calculated on a prorated basis to determine qualifications. Minimum Qualification Screening Process

After minimum qualification screening, the comparative analysis process will involve a review and rating of all the information you submit. The comparative analysis step may also include your results from an eSkills Test.
