Our client, a education organization, is seeking an Executive Assistant. The Executive Assistant will support the co-founder of a division within the organization, and will be responsible for managing calendar, correspondence, events, logistics, academic program, scheduling, expenses, and other professional activities.
Responsibilities:
- Directly oversees event management needs related to conferences and travel.
- Coordinates high level domestic and international meetings, events, and conferences calls.
- Handles communications and logistics for presentations, speaking appearances and publications.
- Serves as point of contact for the Professor’s high level inquiries and responds to complex inquiries based on policy.
- Receives, reviews and makes appropriate disposition of correspondence.
- Researches, writes and proofreads high level correspondence, using independent judgment and attention to detail.
- Manages the office’s entire electronic correspondence database, including incoming and past correspondence.
- Independently manages and executes projects in support of the academic program initiatives.
- Serves as the first point of contact and “go-to” person and resolves any issues working closely with senior leaders in various departments as well as with external constituents.
- Creates internal office processes and reviews current processes for improvement and efficiencies.
- Oversee the daily operations of the office while exercising independent discretion and judgment.
- Works closely with and attends to inquiries from international agencies by establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time; gaining cooperation of others; monitoring progress; problem-solving; making adjustments to plans.
- Responsible for preparation, analysis and audit of departmental travel and expenses reports,
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 1-2 yrs’ related experience
- Attention to detail and high level of discretion
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in an academic setting
Compensation:$32-36/hr
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
