Description:

Nazareth Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Respiratory Therapist to join our team!

Schedule: Part-time day shift, 12-hr shifts

Under supervision of the department manager and/upon request of the physician order sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment to be utilized in the Diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease or illness. Also delivery of medications needed to assist in control of Respiratory ailments.

Job Resposibilities:

• Demonstrates competence in providing Oxygen Therapy
• Demonstrates competence in Arterial Blood Gas Sampling
• Demonstrates competence in Pulmonary toilet/oropharyngeal suctioning.
• Set up and maintain ventilator functions
• Appropriate use of oximetry device
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, medications, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

• HS graduate or equivalent
• Graduate of an AMA approved respiratory therapy program
• Current PA license in Respiratory Therapy.
• Must be registered by the NBRC
• BCLS required.
• Experience prefered
