$22.00 - $26.00 PER HOUR GENERAL PURPOSE: The purpose of this position is to ensure all food contact and non-food contact surfaces are cleaned and sanitized to meet regulatory and company standards, supporting a safe and efficient production environment. This position is responsible for leading sanitation operations during the graveyard shift at the Central Production Facility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the sanitation team during graveyard shift operations Assign daily cleaning tasks to sanitation associates based on the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) Provide training and mentorship to new sanitation associates Act as a role model for safe, efficient, and compliant sanitation practices Supervise and participate in cleaning of food and non-food contact surfaces including production lines, equipment, and facility support areas Remove food residues, debris, and chemical build-up using high-pressure hoses, foaming equipment, and manual scrubbing Mix, apply, and neutralize sanitation chemicals in accordance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS) Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of chemicals to prevent contamination or misuse Maintain clean and organized sanitation storage areas Wear required PPE (e.g., goggles, coveralls, aprons, gloves, respirators) Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures when cleaning equipment Accurately complete cleaning checklists and documentation Escalate equipment malfunctions or functionality concerns to management promptly Assist Quality Control with swab collection and ATP testing prior to daily production start Participate in pre-operational inspections as needed Ensure sanitation chemicals are mixed and ready for use by the daytime sanitation team Assists as needed to ensure the success of the facility as a whole MARGINIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
