About the role

A Microsoft Solution Specialist in Cloud and Security, be the technical and commercial bridge between our customers and our Microsoft cloud & security portfolio. You’ll lead discovery, shape solutions across Microsoft 365 and Azure/Entra, produce compelling proposals/SOWs, and support bids and demos that progress opportunities to close with a core emphasis on Microsoft security (Defender XDR, Sentinel, Entra ID/IDP, Purview) and adjacent security and cloud services within Ekco.

Key responsibilities

  • Customer discovery & requirements: Run scoping/discovery workshops, capture business objectives, and translate into clear requirements and solution scope.
  • Solutioning: Design solutions across Microsoft 365 security and cloud, produce architectures, BoMs, and migration/hardening roadmaps.
  • Presales process execution: Drive NetSuite presales workflow, ensure proposal/SOW compliance, and follow escalation/approval steps.
  • Proposals, tenders & funding: Author high‑quality proposals and SOWs with exceptional attention to detail. Support formal tenders and RFP responses, ensuring clarity, compliance, and compelling value propositions.
  • Technical writing & communication: Produce clear, concise, and technically accurate documentation for proposals, tenders, and customer deliverables. Translate complex technical concepts into business‑friendly language for executive stakeholders.
  • Engagement & enablement: Deliver demos, solution walkthroughs, and contribute to presales collateral. Specifically, Microsoft Threat Protection, Data Envisaging workshops.

Requirements

  • Strong technical writing capability with proven experience producing high‑quality proposals, tenders, and SOWs.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to translate technical language into business terms for C‑level and non‑technical audiences.
  • 5+ years in Microsoft presales/consulting across M365 and Azure/Entra, with depth in Microsoft security (Defender XDR, Sentinel, Conditional Access/MFA, PIM).
  • Experience leading customer workshops and mapping requirements to solutions and outcomes.
  • Have some of the Microsoft SC‑100/200/300/400 certifications
  • Experience with public sector/enterprise tenders and bid QA. Familiarity with frameworks (Zero Trust, ISO 27001, NIST CSF).
