Overview
The Clinical Apps Training Resource role is designed to optimize the use of clinical applications within our healthcare organization, driving operational efficiencies and improving financial performance. The Trainer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing application-related training programs designed to enhance employee skills, foster professional growth, and align with organizational goals. This role involves assessing the training needs across the company, designing learning experiences, facilitating training sessions, and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives. The Trainer will work closely with department leaders to ensure that employees have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform at their best.
Key Responsibilities
Training Program Development:
- Design, implement, and continuously improve applications-related training programs, including onboarding and ongoing education for clinical, operations, financial, and leadership-specific topics related to the use and optimization of technology solutions. Develop and maintain training materials, resources, and e-learning modules that address local and company-wide objectives.
Training Delivery & Facilitation:
- Lead training sessions for employees at various levels, ranging from new hires to seasoned employees, including patient-facing and non-patient-facing roles. Utilize various delivery methods such as in-person, virtual, and hybrid sessions to ensure accessibility and engagement. Provide hands-on coaching and mentoring to leaders and employees as needed to support personal and professional development.
Program Management & Execution:
- Coordinate logistics for training programs, ensuring timely execution and availability of resources (rooms, equipment, materials, etc.). Oversee training schedules, ensuring minimal disruption to work while maximizing participation and effectiveness.
Training and Support:
- Provide ongoing support and education to clinical applications and help desk teams to increase their ability to address any application-related issues promptly. Identify support trends and recurring issues in local operations to create targeted education and self-support options for resolution.
Evaluation & Reporting:
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, feedback, assessments, and performance metrics. Prepare and present reports on training outcomes, program impact, and employee development progress to senior leadership. Implement continuous improvement strategies based on feedback and evolving business needs.
Compliance & Best Practices:
- Ensure all training programs are in compliance with legal requirements and organization policies. Stay updated with industry trends, new training technologies, and best practices to continually enhance the corporate training program.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders across clinical operations, IT, and finance. Understand their needs and challenges, ensuring that the portfolio of clinical applications and the local use of specific applications meets their requirements and contribute to the organization’s overall success.
Innovation and Improvement:
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in clinical software and technology, including new vendor software features and new-to-market services that achieve operational goals. Propose and implement innovative solutions that can further enhance operational efficiency and financial performance.
