Job Summary
Consumer Cellular is seeking an experienced and people-focused Senior Manager, Inside Sales, to lead our high-performing contact center sales team. This role is ideal for a proven sales leader who thrives in a customer-first environment and understands the unique needs of senior customers who appreciate personalized and simplified service. The Senior Manager, Inside Sales will oversee daily operations, coach leaders and agents, and ensure that both sales performance and customer satisfaction remain at the highest levels. This leader serves as the conduit between the frontline to marketing, leadership, and other stakeholders within the organization, presenting results with integrity and clarity.
What You Will Do
- Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the Sales leaders and frontline sales professionals to achieve sales, service, and retention goals.
- Foster a culture of empathy, patience, and respect tailored to the needs of our customer demographic.
- Reinforce training and best practices that focus on consultative selling and superior customer service.
- Sales & Customer Experience Strategy
- Drive sales performance through data-driven insights, effective coaching, and process improvement.
- Balance sales objectives with exceptional customer service standards to build loyalty and trust.
- Partner with senior leadership to develop strategies for customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value growth.
- Operational Excellence
- Manage daily contact center operations, including agent scheduling effectiveness, call flow, and quality assurance.
- Monitor key performance metrics (KPIs) such as conversion rates, average handle time, and customer satisfaction scores.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance customer experience.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Training, and Customer Care to ensure alignment on campaigns, promotions, and service standards.
- Serve as a voice of the customer, providing insights on the needs and preferences of our customer demographic.
Qualifications
- 6-8 years of progressive experience in sales leadership, with at least 3 years managing inside sales or contact center teams.
- Background in wireless, telecommunications, or related subscription-based industries preferred.
- Proven success driving sales performance while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an empathetic approach to customer engagement.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM and contact center technology.

Pay & Benefits Data (in accordance with the Equal Pay and Opportunities Act)
- Minimum Salary: $110,250
- Maximum Salary: $164,850
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
