Occupational Therapist

University of Pittsburgh, Department of Counseling and Behavioral Health, seeks a licensed Occupational Therapist, OTR-L, with a passion for assistive technology and client-centered care. The Occupational Therapist will conduct comprehensive assistive technology evaluations, develop and implement individualized recommendations, and provide training to clients and their support networks.
Location of position: The Commonwealth Technical Institute (CTI) at Hiram G. Andrews Center (HGAC) in Johnstown, PA. Travel is required throughout the state of PA.

Provides comprehensive occupational therapy services to clients, including students, faculty, research participants and/or staff. Conducts comprehensive evaluations, develops personalized treatment plans, and implements individualized recommendations utilizing assistive technology, adaptive equipment, and alternate interventions to improve independence and quality of life. Provides training to clients and their support networks.

Additional details about Required Licensure/Certification Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution preferred. Current Pennsylvania licensure (or eligibility) an an Occupational Therapist. Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) certification a plus. Valid driver's license required.
Work Schedule Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00pm
Work Arrangement On-Campus: Teams that work on campus, in an office, or in a lab.
