Job Title: General Maintenance Worker (DOE -F)

Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services has an immediate need for a General Maintenance Worker in Washington, DC. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99. The schedule is Monday - Friday 7:00am -3:00pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Respond and complete daily service orders and preventive maintenance of HVAC, plumbing and structural systems and equipment. This work shall include the inspection, service, maintenance, repair, modification and replacement of plumbing and electrical systems and equipment, including plumbing fixtures, piping, water, gas, heating, steam and sanitation systems. All electrical appliances and fixtures including lamping.
• Replace ceiling tiles and make necessary and minor carpentry repairs as needed.
• Empty drip pans throughout the facility.
• Performs other duties as required or directed by the shift lead or manager on duty.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must have 3-6 years experience in the maintenance of commercial facilities

Physical Demands:

• Work requires an abundance of walking, bending, kneeling, and working in uncomfortable positions
