We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Real Estate Financial Controller with an understanding of Yardi Voyager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial management and reporting of our real estate properties, as well as collaborating with our external auditors to ensure accuracy and compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations. Specifically, you will be tasked with using Yardi Voyager/Elevate to perform CAM and bank reconciliations, create asset schedules, close the books, and manage budgeting/forecasting.
The Real Estate Controller is responsible for overseeing the preparation of financial statements, statistical data, and journal entries for input into the general ledger for financial reporting purposes. As the Real Estate Controller, you will also play a critical role in managing the financial operations of our real estate portfolio, leveraging your expertise in Yardi Voyager / Elevate to streamline processes and enhance financial performance. This role will also be responsible for providing detailed account and variance analysis, in addition to reconciliations, and supporting documentation for general ledger accounts.
This is a unique role at an incredible company! The real estate portfolio is primarily comprised of industrial assets. As the Real Estate Controller, this role oversees the financial accounting and reporting for wholly owned and joint venture properties as well as construction projects.

We are excited to share that the base salary range for this position is $130,000.00-$170,000.00. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location when determining a starting rate of pay.
