Job Title: Electrical Power Distribution Designer

Job Description

We are seeking talented individuals with experience in electrical power distribution to support pole replacement projects in Texas. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of industry experience and provides an opportunity to collaborate on designing, updating, and maintaining efficient electrical systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and layout electrical power distribution systems.
  • Update and modify existing electrical systems to enhance performance.
  • Ensure systems are designed to avoid overloads and prevent outages.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to achieve project goals.
  • Utilize CAD software and other tools for effective design and project management.
  • Adhere to established safety policies and procedures.
  • Monitor project deadlines and track progress effectively.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interact with various stakeholders.
  • Minimum of 2 years of distribution design experience, specifically with pole rejection/replacement work.
  • 2+ years of DDS (Distribution Design Software) experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or certificate in CAD for entry-level positions.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
