Develop the production plan for the corresponding area, according to the needs of different markets (America and Europe), with the goal of delivering the finished product when the customer needs it at the various distribution centers.
For internal applicants
This is P2 level role.
What will you be doing?
- Update production requirements (MRP) weekly to identify possible changes in demand.
- Support the purchasing department with forecasting in SAP to avoid potential confusion during procurement.
- Coordinate with the purchasing department to confirm materials before sending the schedule to the production department.
- Define and communicate priorities to all involved departments to ensure timely delivery.
- Review the status of all orders in process daily to ensure they follow the established sequence.
- Maintain finished product inventory levels above safety stock at distribution centers to ensure product availability.
- Analyze finished product sales to identify the type of demand for each product.
- Conduct capacity analysis for each production line to determine if upcoming production volumes can be met.
- Update the "Back Orders" report daily to keep all areas involved informed of their status.
- Prepare a weekly production summary highlighting factors that caused delays in product flow for review during Operations meetings.
- Maintain constant communication with sterilization providers to ensure continuous load flow.
- Update the transit load report daily to track shipments until they are delivered to the distribution centers.
- Coordinate with engineering and production for the transfer of new products to the plant to ensure adequate quantities for launch on the required date.
- Comply with all requirements, tasks, and obligations from our Quality Management System, including proper management of corrective and preventive actions, and strict adherence to all quality standards, policies, and procedures.
- Comply with the implementation of Occupational Health standards and programs established by the company, including following safety recommendations, using personal protective equipment (PPE), and suggesting improvements to prevent incidents or occupational illnesses that could affect workers' integrity or company assets.
- Responsible for safeguarding all documents, confidential information, equipment, tools, raw materials, products, or other assets directly related to the work area to prevent incidents that could impact productivity and product distribution, potentially causing economic impact or non-compliance with clients, suppliers, shareholders, and other key audiences.
What will you need to be successful?
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing companies in the materials area and knowledge of SAP (preferred).
- Advanced English.
Successful candidates would need the following:
- APICS certification (preferred).
- Teamwork skills.
- Assertive communication.
- Ability to lift up to 5kg.
- Occasional use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
