Initial Hygiene leads in hygiene services, serving over 40 countries and ranked in the top 3 in 38. We offer tailored hygiene products for various industries.

Central support functions include Human Resources, IT, Finance, Legal, and Marketing & Innovation, with the role based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, within the Initial Hygiene Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit customers to demonstrate services and products.
  • Communicate solutions and present quotations effectively.
  • Upsell and identify new business to expand service range.
  • Close sales by highlighting competitive advantages.
  • Facilitate price increases with clients.
  • Manage debt collection and adhere to credit terms.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Enhance client retention through strong relationships.
  • Carry out account management per best practices.
  • Monitor commercial performance of accounts in territory.
  • Support tendering and customer surveying processes.
  • Assist in converting sales leads and marketing activities.
  • Maintain a complete customer database with activity records.
  • Provide market intelligence to management regarding competitors.

Requirements

Key requirements

  • A diploma or degree qualification in any business course
  • A good grasp of the Company's products and services
  • minimum of 2 years experience in Direct or Field sales
  • Strong selling skills
  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads
  • Self-drive and initiative in current role
  • Valid driver's licence, with a minimum of 2 years experience
  • Any relevant tertiary education
