Description

Maintain data center operations to ensure availability and reliability of service levels

Conduct hardware and network diagnostics and repairs

Root cause analysis of hardware and software failures

Training of internal teams

Development of documentation

Provide technical support to data center teams

Development of scripts to update server and networking hardware

Maintain inventory

Assemble and install equipment

Perform maintenance of test and tools equipment

Occasional travel to other data centers as needed

Skills

Data center, Rack and stack, Hardware troubleshooting, Troubleshooting, Cable, Cabling, cisco ios, juniper, junos, python, bash scripting

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Computer Hardware experience (troubleshooting, assembling)

Linux Operating System experience

All physical requirements are expected with reasonable accommodations

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50lbs and/or work in elevated locations

Ability to work in an environment that operates 24/7 with an ability to participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed

Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills

Must be able to prioritize tasks and react quickly to issues

Location Details

  • Work Site: Ellendale, ND
  • Lodging: Aberdeen, SD (approx. 40-minute commute)

Day-to-Day

Responsibilities

  • Unboxing and staging equipment
  • Daily QA/QC checks
  • Reviewing cut sheets, overheads, and elevation plans (training provided)
  • Physical buildout in the data hall
  • Pulling optics (fiber termination handled by LDC)
  • Deploying hardware: network devices, patch panels, nodes, CPUs, GPUs
  • Handling all Layer 2 and below networking tasks

Additional Notes

  • Must be a team player—no task is too small
  • Will work closely with CoreWeave’s Tiger Team
  • Tiger Team provides technical direction; RRT Lead supports and assigns tasks
  • Must be prepared for cold winter conditions

    • Per diem adjusted if additional meals are provided
    • No per diem on non-workdays
  • Travel home every 4–6 weeks (final details pending)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
