About us

At R&D, CCI Technology & Systems (T&S) we primarily engage with system engineers in the SW domain but also support HW development. Our section contributes to almost all requirement areas (RAs) and programs. We engage in technology strategies and early phases of development, as well as create design and configuration input for RAN, RAN Compute and Site products.

Furthermore, we are a part of:

  • make system design for SW features.
  • coordinate RAs work via Technical Coordinators.
  • technically lead our product development projects.
  • set requirement on ASICs for RAN Compute products based on L1 and L2 architecture and performance needs.
  • System Simulation and algorithm development.
  • Product requirement setting.

System Developer – Equipment Handling

Responsible for supporting hardware maintenance, including installations and replacement of field hardware. Ensure critical functionality to maintain seamless customer operations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Bring equipment into operation, supervise performance, and secure continuous availability.
  • Support a wide range of hardware units, such as radios and RAN computers, with different capabilities and capacities.
  • Manage configurations of varying sizes to meet operational requirements.
  • Handle multiple front-haul topology variants for efficient equipment interconnection.

Who are you?

To take on this role you need to have expertise and a strong background in telecommunication and mobile networks. As well as a solid background in the equipment handling (EH) domain. You will drive and take active part in creating our strategies for the equipment handling alongside providing technical leadership, support, and competence development for our researchers in this area (EH).

With your solution-oriented mindset, you bring a unique mix of qualities to this role. Such as outstanding communication-, craftsmanship-, and leadership skills that enable you to deliver exceptional results and bring people together.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in engineering
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in either System Design, Software Design, RAN, or System Verification, or relevant fields.
  • Solid background in telecommunications.
  • Proven ability to drive system solutions.

Following skills are meritorious:

Experience with Unified Modelling Language, Git/Gerrit/PlantUML/Markdown, Netconf/Yang, 3GPP/O-RAN, Managed Object Modelling, Ericsson Corporate Standards, RAN Architecture, and coding skills within C++.
