The Commercial Trading Compliance department is a key part of the Phillips 66 Global Ethics & Compliance (‘GEC’) group and primarily supports the Phillips 66 Global Commercial trading activities. Based in Houston, Texas, the Trade Compliance Analyst position, will primarily be responsible for supporting Commercial’s Gas & Power physical and financial commodity derivative trading activities, including providing timely and accurate compliance and regulatory advice; ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements; and conducting trade surveillance and monitoring activities. The CTC Compliance Analyst role will interact with many stakeholders across Phillips 66, including CTC’s global team, North America Commercial Gas & Power Trading personnel, Legal, Risk Management, Internal Audit, and Controllers. It will also require engagement with external stakeholders such as the exchanges, clearing brokers, and, where appropriate, US domestic gas and power regulators.
Responsibilities May Include:
Internal Compliance Controls – Ensure P66 trader compliance of internal controls and policies, including authority limits, late trades, etc. Maintain and enhance internal monitoring reports and escalate potential internal policy violations to management.
