Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled DataOps Technical SME with proven expertise in deploying and supporting DataOps platforms such as HighByte, Litmus, EMQX, and HiveMQ within manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience translating manufacturing business requirements into robust technical solutions, supporting solution architecture and proposal development, and delivering scalable IIoT DataOps applications across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design, development, and rollout of DataOps applications using platforms such as HighByte, Litmus, EMQX, HiveMQ, and similar technologies.
  • Work closely with manufacturing stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
  • Define infrastructure and environment specifications; liaise with IT and infrastructure teams for successful deployments.
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including Pre-Reqs (IT requirements, ports, SSL, etc.), URS/FS requirements, SOPs, and system design documents.
  • Deploy DataOps applications in manufacturing environments, ensuring seamless integration with shop floor and enterprise systems.
  • Configure and validate connections to various source systems, including PLCs, SCADA, historians, and MES/ERP platforms.
  • Develop and execute validation plans, IQ/OQ/PQ test documentation, and provide support throughout all testing phases.
  • Support solution architecture activities and contribute to technical proposals for new IIoT and DataOps initiatives.
  • Manage deployments across Dev, Test, and Production environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Work on enhancements, site-specific customizations, and tag mappings as required by manufacturing operations.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with industrial protocols (e.g., OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus) and integration with manufacturing systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based IIoT architectures and edge computing concepts.
  • Certifications in HighByte, Litmus, EMQX, HiveMQ, or related DataOps/IIoT platforms are a plus.
