Join Ericsson's dynamic Digital Engagement and Experience team within the Marketing & Communication Hub in Budapest. We're building the technical backbone that supports our global Marketing & Communications operations through innovative web platforms, systems, and digital solutions.

We are now looking for an Application Development Specialist. In this role, you'll report directly to the Head of M&C Hub Digital Engagement and Experience while collaborating closely with M&C teams globally.

The purpose is to make the M&C community more productive in their projects, such as campaigns, information repositories and events. In this role, you will work on the development, maintenance and administration tasks for tools, including configurations, settings, user access, security updates and training.

What you will do

• Drive project and portfolio management excellence by providing tool support for planning, collaboration, and streamlined workflows across our global Marketing & Communications teams.
• Develop and enhance applications on the Microsoft platform - from building new solutions to configuring existing ones, creating templates and designing automated flows.
• Partner closely with Ericsson Group IT to stay ahead of platform upgrades and navigate the evolving IT landscape.
• Provide expert second-line support, troubleshooting issues and ensuring smooth communication.
• Support with tool and application improvements activities, gap analysis and requirements gathering.
• Conduct training sessions and digital competence development throughout Ericsson's global M&C department, promoting innovative tools and modern ways of working.
• Build insightful statistics, interactive dashboards and data analysis that drive informed decision-making.
• Oversee tool governance to ensure optimal performance, security and compliance across all platforms.

The skills you bring

• University degree in Marketing, Business, IT or equivalent field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Deep knowledge of digital marketing, web management and Marketing Technology systems development.
• Programming skills in JavaScript and React.js, with a solid understanding of IT systems and processes.
• Strong technical foundation in Office 365 ecosystem - SharePoint Online, Power Automate, PowerApps, MS Project Online and logical flows.
• Understanding of business processes, project management and portfolio management principles.
• Fluent verbal and written English.
• Strong listening skills with the ability to respond constructively to team ideas and provide supportive assistance to colleagues
• Proactive thinking and the ability to work independently while staying responsive to team needs.
• Experience with Power Query and Azure is a nice-to-have.
