JOB DESCRIPTION:
Managing the Non-Profit and For-Profit bid process and contract process to ensure accurate, timely and financially sound pricing decisions and contract pricing integrity. Manages the process within Specialty Channels Vistex system, as well as various customer managed bid and contract systems.
Communicates directly with customers on contracts.
Reviewing and analyzing bid requests and making recommendations to sales on products and pricing
Analyzing bid recaps in order to understand win/loss/share data
Identifying risk and opportunity areas and capturing competitive information
Ensuring accuracy of data, timely submissions, compliance with bid requirements, and compliance with internal audit guidelines.
Team player Finance background helpful
Excellent knowledge of excel
Knowledge of SAP/Vistex a plus
Must have excellent time management and a high degree of organization and strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Must be a self-starter.
Attention to Detail, Experience with Bid Docs, Legal Docs, etc.
1 to 2 years of similar experience
0-2 Years Exp in Food Service Bid Process
Associate will need to be flexible in hours - some starts will be 7am, some will be 9 CST. Please ensure the Contractor is flexible if the schedule needs to change.
