What You’ll Do Here:

The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will assist the Outlets Manager and will oversee all food and beverage outlets within the hotel operated by Hyatt which includes restaurant, lounge, pool, market and digital dining.

Duties Include:

  • Responsible for proactive communication, proficiency and effective results as related to Project Olympia
  • Implement and maintain food & beverage sales/marketing programs
  • Responsible for assisting Outlets Manager in the creation and execution of activations, not limited to Pool, Market, Bistro 300 and lobby activations
  • Direct and oversee development of employees
  • Hire, train, empower, coach and counsel
  • Responsible for ensuring payroll is completed weekly and accurately
  • Responsible for assisting in ensuring all time edits are cleared daily
  • Coordinate outlet operations with other hotel departments to ensure efficient guest service
  • Resolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality
  • Responsible for creating and executing an elevated beverage program alongside Outlets Manager
  • Implement procedures to increase guest and employee satisfaction
  • Exercise quality control for both food and beverage
  • Maintain Hyatt standards of service and ensure their implementation
  • Perform daily walk-through to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations and Hyatt Corporate standards

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years as F&B Management preferred
  • Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred
  • Ideal applicant should have strong organizational skills, ability to work with flexible work schedule, be a team player and a dynamic leader
